Our Curriculum

The term curriculum is a very broad term and we believe goes far beyond that which is assessed. It is a programme which sets out the aims of the school including the knowledge and the understanding to be gained at each stage. Our curriculum is currently undergoing a period of review and we will publish the renewed curriculum as it is agreed. In  reviewing our curriculum we are holding the new OFSTED view of curriculum at the heart of our planning.

With this in mind our curriculum intent is very clear. It is intrinsically linked to our Christian Vision. Our curriculum intent is as follows:

In the Wolds Federation we intend that through our curriculum all our pupils will become agents for change

They will be agents for change in their own lives, life long learners who ask questions, who challenge themselves and think deeply.

They will be agents for change in their local community, good citizens who strengthen those around them through service of others

They will be agents for change in the global community, stewards of creation and seeking to make the world a fairer place for all.

For further information on how this links directly to our Christian Vision please look at those pages of the website.
