Welcome to our new school website.
I am very proud to be the Head Teacher of the Wolds Federation. On behalf of the children, staff and governors, I would like to offer you a warm welcome.

Beswick and Watton is a very special place. It is part of a federation of three schools which work really closely together. We aim to be individually inspiring and together outstanding. The Federation, initially established in 2007, provides strength and stability to the individual schools. All three schools foster an ethos of care and commitment in developing the ‘whole child’ in the belief that each person is created in God’s image. 

Today, learning takes place in attractive school buildings, with first-rate facilities. Small classes sizes and a committed staff team mean every child has the chance to thrive. Our amazing outdoor environment means pupils often work outside on engaging project work. The diverse grounds include fields, a pond, friendship benches, a vegetable garden and even a poly tunnel!

This is a place to make friends and start on the lifelong learning journey. We recognise that children have one chance to enjoy their primary school lives; we do all that we can to make sure it is a special experience. The school is incredibly well supported by an active parent association and they fund raise to help provide even more resources for the children. 

The Federation values both academic and personal success and aims to provide our pupils with the learning experiences, care and support they need to achieve this. We encourage pupils to develop as creative, innovative and responsible individuals within a learning community that values the input of the pupils themselves as well as parents, Governors, the Church and the wider Community.
