Friends of Beswick School

Our parents group, known as FOBS is run by dedicated parents who spend time raising money for the school and putting on additional functions for everyone to enjoy. They also organise a number of key fundraising events each year such as a Christmas Ball and a summer fayre.  All parents are automatically Friends of Beswick School and membership is open to all adult members of our local communities. The Association was established to support the work of the school and aims to foster more extended relationships between the staff, parents and all others associated with the school. We are always willing to welcome new faces onto the committee and to receive suggestions for events and activities. Support for the school through the Friends is always very welcome. We actively encourage an 'open door' philosophy at this school. We are a very friendly school and parents are invited to be as involved as they wish in their child's school life, from popping into the classroom to drop off your child in the morning, to becoming an active volunteer 'Friend of Beswick & Watton School'. With charitable status, this group, made up of parents and other members of our communities, helps to raise funds for the school. All good fun!
